After qualifying as a chartered accountant (ACA) with Grant Thornton in Bedford he then moved to London with the same firm, where he became an Audit Manager. For the next 21 years Martin progressed through a number of finance manager roles, reporting both management and year-end accounts at board level before running his own accounting practice for 5 years. 10 years ago he joined Mazars LLP to become a manager in the Accounts and Outsourcing Department, with responsibility for both management accounts and year end accounts across a wide range of clients. Here he undertook a number of interim assignments.
